• November In Paris = Photography

Two major interrelated photography events take place this month in Paris.

Le Salon De La Photo Paris Expo, which takes place November 13 – 17 at the Porte De Versailles,1, place de la Porte de Versailles, 75015 Paris.

The SIPEC (Syndicat des entreprises de l’Image, de la Photo et de la Communication) which supported the photography industry for years in its shift toward digital technology, is gathering practically all the companies of the photography world who deal in image capture, processing software, prints and printing. In 2008, the show is affirming its vocation as a place for communication and sharing. Held in November, the most important sales period of the year, the ‘Salon de la Photo’ will be more than just a simple exhibition for presenting products: it will above all be a unique opportunity for meetings and exchanges. All are welcome to the event we are planning with the people who use your products, amateurs and professionals alike.

Mois De La Photo, which runs through November at different locations throughout the city.

Since its inception in 1980, the Mois de la Photo has helped make Paris one of the world capitals of photography. It takes place in November every other year and is made possible by the mobilization of a large number of cultural institutions and galleries in Paris. Each edition, organized around a particular theme, includes 70 to 80 exhibitions as well as film screenings, public discussions and other events. This year the festival takes European photography as its theme.
