The 2009 FOTOSEPTIEMBRE USA International Photography Festival has begun.

The festival’s first exhibit for 2009 opened to the public yesterday. The Alapi’i-Series 2 exhibit by John Keoni Viriyapunt is on display at Silo Elevated Cuisine. The artist’s reception for this exhibit is scheduled for Thursday, September 24.

On Saturday, August 22, the Small Town Texas exhibit of images by Ricardo Romo opens to the public at the Witte Museum.

And on Saturday, September 22 as well, there will be an opening reception for the Kemp Davis and Jaroslav Poncar exhibits at Gallery Nord.

As in prior years, we will take photographs of most exhibits and receptions throughout the festival’s duration, and will periodically post the photographs in this Blog.
