One of our very favorite breakfast/lunch destinations in Boerne is Bear Moon Bakery, where artisanal breads and pastries, excellent coffee, and eclectic sandwiches, are just the ticket for our picky palates. Curated by Charles and Tami Kegley of Bella Creo, Bear Moon is hosting Crazy Quilt, an exhibit of colorful, digital images by budding photographer Julie Johnson.

• Carriage House Gallery – Boerne

The Carriage House Gallery Of Artists -located half a block off Boerne’s Main Street- an artist coop and traditional mainstay of the local arts community, presents the photographic display Two Views, with images by John Lewis and Larry Woods. • Cibolo Nature Center – Boerne

The Cibolo Nature Center, a long-time participant of the FOTOSEPTIEMBRE USA Festival, has presented for many years, photography exhibits organized by the Cibolo Arts Council, and is now hosting the Cibolo Nature Center 20th Anniversary Photo Exhibition, a display of nature images by children and adults.

• River City Silver

River City Silver (one of the few photolabs in Texas that still processes film), owned by Hank and Susan Auderer, is presenting the exhibit Sins Of Man And Other Stories, a series of colorful, satirical tableaus by Brandon Soder, a young San Antonio photographer currently living in Santa Fe, NM. • Instituto Cultural De Mexico

In partnership with FOTOSEPTIEMBRE USA-SAFOTO, the Instituto Cultural De Mexico in San Antonio (the Cultural Mission of Mexico’s Foreign Ministry), under the vigorous and impeccable Directorship of Gabriela Franco Palafox, is hosting four of the Festival’s 2008 Signature Exhibits, and a special film documentary screening. The Instituto Cultural De Mexico is located in Hemisfair Park in downtown San Antonio.

• Huisache Grill – New Braunfels

Owned and managed by our good friends Don & Lynn Forres, Huisache Grill, a veritable dining oasis in New Braunfels, just a short drive North from San Antonio on I-35, is hosting the exhibit A Belly Full Of Honey, a series of images by New Braunfels photographer Pauline Stevens, depicting details of her family’s apiary farm in Valle de Bravo, Mexico.
