• Say Sí

One of the favorite destinations of our annual FOTOSEPTIEMBRE USA pilgrimages, is Say Sí, whose students always produce exciting, clever, bodies of work. Readymade Redux, an all-student exhibit showcasing experimental photography in mixed-media, is a must-see for photography enthusiasts. Readymade Redux is actually two exhibits. One, Foto Escultura, by Say Sí Middle School Art Students is a modern interpretation of the traditional technique of using photographic images as the basis for three-dimensional photo sculptures, presented in a playful image-and-sound-installation format. Number two is the Altered Objects exhibit by Say Sí High School Media and Visual Art Students, exploring relationships between images and objects.
